PlasticClassifieds.com is a classified ad and communications hub optimized for plastic model-related content. Our intention is to help our membership find what they're looking for and at the same time help other plastic model-related web sites, clubs, and businesses by introducing them to more people.

To make things easy to find we arrange web sites in our link listings by category. Since this is exactly the kind of thing that our members are interested in, we make every effort to be sure that we have the most up to date information, and to see if there's anything else we can do to help get the word out.

Events lists plastic model calendar events. To add an event just click on Submit Event on the menu bar and tell us about your event. We maintain a list of event addresses so that we can map them for you.

Maps
We maintain a list of club and event addresses so that we can map them for you. If you are a member (even a free one) and supply us with your ZIP code we can show you on the map what is going on in your area. This is the only reason we collect address information.

Membership at PlasticClassifieds.com is free but we do offer higher levels of membership. The higher your membership level is the more tools you can access and the higher your discount on classified ads will be.

The free classified ads at PlasticClassifieds.com are the perfect way to clear out that cluttered garage by selling the gear you don't use anymore, giving you more money to play with. We've tried to make it as easy as possible for people to sell lots of stuff.

Sealed Bids
If you'd like to get the best possible price in your classified ad, a Sealed Bid is the way to go. You set a minimum price that you'll accept but unlike an auction, your bidders don't see what the other bids are. They'll have to make their best offer if they want to win, which protects you from lowballing and ensures that you get the top value for your item.

Group Buys
Most companies are willing to offer a better price on quantity purchases. A Group Buy includes all the full page ad features of the Featured Product along with the ability to set a special price and specify how many people must sign up before you'll honor the price. You are listed in the Group Buy section to reach those who are ready to buy as well as our monthly newsletter. Customer sign ups are handled automatically, and when the threshold is reached both you and your customers are notified by email so that you may then proceed with the sale. We offer a variety of banner ads on PlasticClassifieds.com and our rates are determined by traffic on the site. Right now our banner ads are 0¢. Submitting your banner to PlasticClassifieds.com is easy. Just click the Advertise link and select Banner Ad. You can upload your banner right through our system, selecting the positioning you would like, such as a horizontal ad in the header or footer of the main content or a vertical ad in the left or right margin.

Product Showcase
When you have a new item to launch or just want to get some attention for one of your products and services, a Product Showcase is the way to go. You will be listed in the Showcases section and given 8,000 characters of formatted text and an uploaded image. Writing your own article really lets you get your message across and this amounts to a full page ad for you. Product Showcases are also featured in our monthly newsletter.
